Chicken 2014


Chicken – 500g
Riceflour – 100g
Saunf (Aniseed) – 2g
Lemon juice – 1
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Chilli powder – 2 tbsp
Ginger and Garlic paste – 2 tbsp
Cashewnut bits – 50g
Refined oil – 1 litre
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Green chillies, chopped – 2 nrs
Salt as required
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Curryleaves – a few
Thick curd – 50 ml

Method of Preparation

1. Take one broad kind vessel and put riceflour, aniseed, lemon juice, masala powders, fine ginger & garlic paste, salt, cashew bits and red color. Drop the chicken and mix well, ensure the masala mixture coat well with chicken. Rest it for half an hour.

2. Deep fry the marinated chicken in hot oil after the said time. Drain it.

3. Heat oil in a pan, pop the mustard seeds. Add green chillies, curryleaves. Add the beaten curd, stir it nicely. Put salt, pepper powder and deep fried chicken pieces. Toss the mixture gently. Serve hot.

Chicken Mundri - Same Chicken 65

Whatever varieties are there in chicken dishes but deep fried chicken (chicken 65) have significant place in foodies’ heart and their kitchen. This features as all time favourite from children to elders and it is a most browsing recipe worldwide.


Chicken Mundri is a handpicked recipe by Chef. Raj Mohan M.S on his own local authentic touch. Mundri means Crispy in nature, it would be like by your children and you feel the hotel taste Chicken 65.

Bold Chicken Pieces - 1 kg

Rice flour -  25g

Ginger paste – 7 g

Garlic paste – 4 g

Chilli powder – 12g

Turmeric Powder – 2g

Salt – to taste

Lime juice – 1 nr

Refined flour – 12g

Curry leaves – a few

Red colour – as required

Corn flour – 15g

Refined Oil – for deep fry

Method

Prepare the best masala marination with rice flour, ginger and garlic paste, refined flour, corn flour, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, lime juice, few curryleaves and enough redcolour in a vessel.

Put the cleaned bold chicken pieces in to the masala and drizzle little oil now, mix gently.

Reserve the portion for another 1 hour to allow the chicken to absorb masala.

Heat oil in kadai, and start to deep fry up to the surface reaches golden colour. Then take it out from hot oil.

After 6 minutes, again drop the fried chicken pieces into the hot oil and deep fry till the chicken pieces done.

Now the Chicken Mundri is ready to eat along onion roundels

Dedicate to Husbands by Housewives


From this colourful topic itself we would guess, this is most important write up for the housewives to impress their husbands with new food bits in their lunch box.

We know the morning situation in each house, how turbulent it is? Our dear home ministers are in heat to send their children and husband to their respective spot and more tension is there in preparing their lunch box stuff. We are in desire to include and keen to prepare different lunch box food items everyday. But it is boon for the housewives if something simple for them in morning time preparation…

Through my blog post, I produce the lunch box recipe named “Simple Pepper Chicken”. As like name this recipe is simple and viable to prepare quite easily in the morning. So taste is not same like usual pepper chicken this is something different in all spheres. 

Preparation is trouble - free but how you are going to preserve the taste and freshness till lunch time?

Needs

Chicken Pieces – ½ Kg
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Dry Redchillies – 1
Whole Peppercorns – 2 tbsp
Curryleaves – few sprigs
Turmeric powder – a little
Salt – to taste
Refined Oil – 2 tbsp

Method

1. Boil the chicken separately with little turmeric powder.
2. Dry fry peppercorns, cumin seeds, curryleaves and salt. After that, make ready that in to fine masala powder.
3. Apply the masala powder in boiled chicken pieces well and reserve it for 2 hours.
4. Heat oil in kadai, drop marinated chicken pieces and fry it in the oil between 5 – 10 minutes. Better close the kadai with lid and keep the flame in simmer.

Aahh!!! Preparation over, cram the dish in lunch box might fed out the flavour and taste. For that, wrap the prepared simple pepper chicken in banana leaves which take care the freshness and taste.
